Process
I created this piece as a gift for a friend of a character they like from
a popular manga/anime. So when drawing I wanted to capture the
original style of the author’s work. I did so by creating a reference
sheet of images to refer to for details.

I started the sketch in procreate and then moved to photoshop for the lineart, colouring and other details. As I worked I continued using my reference to stay faithful to the style. I worked on this piece for a long time as I was very passionate about it.
