My name is Lily, and I have a deep passion for drawing, which I have cultivated through numerous art classes during my schooling and my free time. My creative approach often transforms otherwise mundane assignments into engaging projects. I have gained hands-on experience in social media content creation, working in a co-op position at my local Sobeys, where I honed my skills in photo editing and crafting compelling captions. Initially enrolled in Fanshawe’s game design program, I took classes in 3D animation, character design, and digital illustration before switching to graphic design to focus more on the design aspects I enjoy. I am set to graduate from the graphic design program at the end of this summer.
My proficiency in Adobe programs includes using Photoshop for photo editing and illustration, InDesign for magazine layout creation and formatting, and Illustrator for vector illustrations. I can prototype web and mobile designs and animate illustrations in After Effects. Additionally, I have experience editing videos and creating voiceovers in Premiere Pro. I have a particular fondness for illustrating characters and projects that incorporate illustrated elements, and I enjoy editing footage with transitions in Premiere Pro. My best work shines through when I am passionate about a project. In high school, I was honoured with the Paul Irving Memorial Art Award and the Yearbook Award, reflecting my dedication and skill in art and design.
